Lichfield wedding Photographer
My entire wedding calendar has been totally wiped out this year because of the coronavirus restrictions. It’s been a tough time for a Lichfield wedding photographer. It’s the most challenging time for the wedding industry in years, and I feel for each and every couple and wedding suppliers who’s plans have been thrown into chaos by this awful pandemic.
I’ve really missed being part of peoples’ wedding stories, spending all day with the bride and groom and wedding parties, and capturing all these amazing moments. Professionally and personally it’s left a huge hole.
So, I was absolutely delighted when Eve & Kate asked me to capture their intimate wedding in Lichfield after nearly six months since my last wedding photography gig.
Like a lot of couples, their original plans had been derailed by covid, and instead they organised a small ceremony-only wedding at Lichfield Registry office, which is pretty much all that is allowed currently anyway.
I really enjoyed this wedding photography in Lichfield. I captured the socially distanced, small ceremony as naturally as possible, then after the wedding we took some time to wander around Beacon Park and Lichfield Cathedral to get some lovely portraits and group shots. I tried to capture the couple in the most natural and relaxed way possible.
Full day weddings look like they’re going to resume for me next year. In the meantime, I want to wish you all the best of health and the best of luck for the rest of the year. I’ll see you all soon!
