Claire & Ian's stunning tipi wedding

Clare and Iain’s beautiful tipi wedding in the heart of Derbyshire was an absolute joy to photograph and here are some of my recollections of the day. I am a Staffordshire wedding photographer. The day started with bridal prep and Clare and her bridesmaids getting ready at her house. I made sure to get lots of photos showing the beautiful details of her Lee Grebenau dress.

The ceremony was at Alvaston Church in Derby and it is a grand old, beautiful venue. I captured guests arriving and the groom starting to look really nervous before the big event!

The ceremony was emotional and beautiful and I tried to stay as discreet as possible in the church but I made sure I got the key moments from my vantage points.

The atmosphere in the August sun was really fun and lively. It was a real festival atmosphere and we had live guitar music to complement the surroundings. Just as sun was setting, and before the first dance we went on a walk to get some portraits, with the golden light shining in the background, and the artificial lights starting to blur out beautifully as light dropped. I hope you enjoy looking through these as much as I did taking them.
