Here’s some thoughts about Hawkstone Hall Weddings from a photographer’s point of view. My experience was that after driving down the longest driveway in existence, past the golf course, once the venue comes into view you realise that it’s impossible to take a bad photo here. One of my wedding couples said a similar thing; as soon as the grandeur of the hall came into view they were sold immediately. They knew that this was the wedding venue for them.

The layout of Hawkstone Hall

The interior of the venue is an immaculately-presented labyrinth of beautiful rooms. My particular favourites are the winter garden room, which is pictured below, and the enormous and elegant bridal suites. The bridal suite is the largest and grandest I have seen and will fit a large bridal party with ease!

One of the brilliant things about the wedding venue is that you get a master of ceremonies to assist you through the day. For wedding photography, this means that I always get help from the master of ceremonies with the group shots here, which you can do at the front of the hall.

This person is invaluable in getting the guests together and helping to run things smoothly. From a photographer’s point of view, Hawkstone Hall Weddings run really smoothly with help like this!

They also take you out on a golf buggy with your photographer to get some portraits at lovely areas around the grounds. This saves on a huge amount of walking and makes the whole thing really enjoyable!

The Chapel, pictured above, is the perfect room for your ceremony: spacious, light, discreet and beautiful decor. It’s a perfect template to put your stamp on: such as the beautiful wisteria trees photographed here. You can also decorate the space with intimate and romantic candle lighting.

Wedding fun and games

There’s lots of space at the back of the hall, so during your drinks reception you can arrange some quirky or entertaining wedding fun and games to keep your wedding guests amused and excited! Such as a laser clay pigeon shooting setup, as photographed below. I can’t tell you how fun this was and how much competition it stirred up!
